Jelly...Yum!

I've been putting out a feeder with very tasty 'pepper jelly'. The word in the neighborhood is that Baltimore Orioles have been sighted. And that the very best offering for enticing them to visit your yard is to offer them jelly. During the two weeks of 'jelly', we've not seen even one Oriole, but...I've learned that other creatures certainly appreciate the sugary stuff. Pollinators, bees specifically, love Pepper Jelly! And the Grey Catbirds are definitely addicted. At first I thought that they were going after the insects attracted to the jelly but then I took a closer look at some of the photos taken and yes, that's jelly smeared on its beak! m
