Catkins

We woke to a sharp frost this morning but there were blue skies, and the day eventually warmed up a little. It looked so inviting out there that I went for a wander in the garden. There still isn’t much colour to accompany the snowdrops but these catkins looked good in the sun against the blue sky. The sun felt warm on my face and I stood for a while, soaking up the vitamin D.
