Poetry in the Park

where we were joined by the terrific Moving Skirts Group from Bray.

Unfortunately the rain didn’t let up. We had a good mix of poetry and saw some dancing from Turkey and Iran. We were joined by a poet from Italy, New York and Athlone.

The dancers invited the poets to join them in a circular dance to pay homage to St. Brigid.

And all the time it rained.

It’s just after 4 now and the sky is clearing.
