The Lonely Tree

Walked up to The Lonely Tree with Dad this morning. The tree was a local landmark that stood on top of a hill in Llanfyllin, it could be seen from the village. I was once made to do cross country up to it at school.   
Sadly, it was damaged in a storm in 2014 and didn't recover, the photo shows what is left.
