Skyscapers

We ventured out to the Organic Foods Cafe in the afternoon. G had seen a promo on FB advertising 2 for 1 on an organic pizza today, so we went. We had to go anyway because we needed a new gas cylinder for the Bubble Bro.

On the way home, G took the photo of the Burj Khalifa for me from her side of the car, and later on, at a different junction, I took the picture of One Za'abeel from my side of the car. One Za'abeel (which houses a "One and Only" hotel) looks super in the night with various light options. Like the Burj Khalifa, it stays topical marking the holiday or event. The difference between the sharp right angles of One Za'abeel viewed next to the curves of the Burj Khalifa is striking. The Link is particularly spectacular and even got into the Guinness Book of Records. Two very tall, very different buildings.

A quiet evening at home followed where G's lesson got cancelled at the last minute. ARGH. And in the morning, I did some of the ironing while G went to church.
