Few photo opportunities on a choir weekend -- I snapped this chap on a quick ten-minute walk this lunchtime. I have to take my emergency cat blips where I find them nowadays.

It was an exhausting weekend. We worked on the entire programme yesterday. Today, same again and then at 4 pm Florence got us up on stage and said "Right, we're going to sing right through it." Aargh. By ignoring most of the mistakes and skipping solos and instrumental bits, we actually got through it in an hour, by which time we were more than ready to go home. Next time will be our first rehearsal with pianist and soloist. I'm hoping having the accompaniment will help!

While we were doing this, S was landing at Carcassonne airport. It's only a ten-minute drive from our rehearsal room, but they'd chucked him out into the car park by the time I got there, because all the staff were going home. At least it was a lovely day.

Now both home, both tired. The fire's lit, and we'll put together some random bits for dinner. Good to be back to normal!
