Hazlehead Park Carvings

We popped along to Hazlehead Park to try out the maze. Supposedly it is model on the one from Hampton Court. We managed to crack it in 23 minutes 40 seconds. Including accidentally going straight to the centre flagpole because someone left the exit gate open and we went that way by accident. We retraced our steps and did it the proper way.

After that, of course, we needed to go to the play park. Spotted these wood carvings along the way. Very impressive. My favourite is the octopus. Standard size spider for Australia, confirmed by our friend who said, and I quote, “I've seen bigger in camp ground dunnies”.

Coffee from Figment on the way home then watched Encanto. Encanto was the first full length film Kara watched when it first came out. She didn’t sit still through it all at that age but did this time. And loved the songs!
