Another ice sculpture

After brunch I went back for another walk around the Ice Sculpture Festival. This is another one on the waterfront. The guys that do the ones on the waterfront are the true artists. The guy who did this one also did a couple of the smaller ones along Portland St. I can only imagine how much time it took to carve this. Can you believe they use a blow torch to smooth out lines and make the ice shiny?
It was a sunny but cold day. -17 C this morning when I got up and it went to -8 C this afternoon. At least the wind coming up Portland St off the harbor was not as bad today.
Messy weather in the forecast for tomorrow, only a couple of cm of snow expected. I have to work every day this week, or work a long day so I can have a day off. I am helping with one last nail color reline, but I am still waiting to find out if we do it Wednesday or Thursday.
