I Think February Is Still Considered To Be Winter!

But cloudless bright blue skies might make you think twice and I know our morning temperatures started at 45 degrees, but they scooted on up to 82 in the late afternoon.  But, no matter what the weather does, we were glad to come together at FBC this morning to offer our worship and praise to God Who is in control of everything!  We began our service with a congregational song followed by the welcome from McGinty.  We continued our worship with a rousing rendition of the song, "When I Don't Know What To Do" from the choir, orchestra and all our dedicated accompanists with Gabe handling the solo parts.  The congregation sang a few more songs, a wonderful mix of old and new.  Then, as promised last week, he had a few words for the husbands penned by Paul and inspired by the Holy Spirit in Ephesians 5:25-33.  These verses speak to husbands about loving their wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her.  He painted us a picture of what that might look like, a sacrificial love that seeks the best for his wife and lifts her up continually.  Pastor Wes laid it all out very clearly and you can find it in the Live-stream which would be a good investment of your time.  At the end of the service, we had the blessing of recognizing Collin Busbee for his 10 years of service at FBC as Facilities Manager, which is why you get to see this sweet picture of our son-in-law and our daughter.   I am sure that you would never guess that I am one proud MIL and mama!
