Juicy Strawberries ...
I have felt alot better today, we went shopping this morning and we brought some straberries for tea, they were very yummy then we went tolook at some art exhibitions in our town centre this afternoon. There are some great artists out they. We also popped into the Green Quay where I did my exhibition last week.
When I was doing my exhibition a local artist named Frank Gibson aged 84 years came to my exhibition and said he liked my work, especially my compostion.
He brought one of my cards, the Early Morning Mist image, he asked me if he could take it home and paint a picture like it. I told him he could, other people around me said "You shouldnt have let him do that he will sell it and make money", I said "I dont mind I told Frank that when he had painted it could I have a look before he sold it", he said "Yes".
Well today we went to his exhibition today he told me he had a little gift for me, it was the painting he had painted of my Early Morning Mist image, he signed it on the back, it said Tracey I love your work from Frank Gibson July 2009 x, I was so overwhelmed that I cried and cried again.
I told him that Eric will mount and frame it for me and when it is finished we will take it to his home so he can see it framed, he was so pleased with the thought of that. when I take it to him I will take a photo of him holding it and show you all here on blip.
See you dont always have to think about making money, or not sharing things, something wonderful can sometimes come out of it, and this time it certainly did.
Thankyou Frank
Love
Tracey xxx
