Recognition!

Sweetheart and I were today  on the search for another Byzantine chapel and we did find the spot... what's this here in my Blip; a new wall built upon the original spot where little remains were left. 
Near to the remains someone was working in his olivegrove and he was willing to talk to us, give us information and call one who could provide more info... a Dutchman, living in the village! see extra for pix on them

The Dutchman came and sat down with Sweetheart on the wall of the Byzantine Chapel what's gone, but its contours are kept as this. They talked and talked and his words were welcomed lots by Sweetheart... they both have interest in that one little chapel a little further on in the next valley. And meeting this Dutchman was a surprise for me too... hearing him talk Dutch with that unmistaken accent from Den Haag :-)  I think it's clear we had a most wonderful and unexpected meeting there in the heart of Crete!
