The Green Vines of Summer…..

…..as seen from the Delta Lake Heights road. This view is looking towards the Richmond Range with Mounts Riley and Sunday on the left of the image. The region is gearing up for the grape harvest. Extra workers are already moving into the area for this very busy time. Marlborough produces around 60% of New Zealand’s wine with 130 wineries in the region. Our signature wine is Sauvignon Blanc but other varieties thrive here as well. Most of the wine produced here is exported overseas.
