As busy as a.......

....hover fly!

I love watching these wee things around the garden....would love to capture just one in full hover mode looking directly into the lens.  Good luck with that!

To be fair, this one didn't do a lot of hovering but instead got stuck in to harvesting some woolly bits from my lambs ear.  Fascinating!  He spent quite some time carefully rolling the woolly fibres into a ball under his body then, when he though he had enough, took off and flew away carrying it all.  What a clever wee chap.
