An egg hidden in a wall

I found this egg hidden in a wall today when I was doing some gardening, clearing some 2ft high weeds. I think it may be a fox who's hidden it there. I see our urban fox, known locally as Foxy (took ages to think of the name) almost daily, mooching down the road and in and around all the gardens. It was sweet to find he's used my wall as a hiding place, though I may have destroyed his cover by removing the weeds! Hopefully he'll be back.
