Shrewsbury Riverside

Well we finally got to the registrar’s office in Shrewsbury…it would appear that they have recently moved and Google Maps and Sat Navs have not been updated so we finished up at their old building…which still had the  Register Office sign on the outside.

Much swearing and getting lost trying to find the new place..doesn’t put you in a good frame of mind. Mrs madwill did collect her brother’s death certificate and we then proceeded to the undertaker who was most helpful in making arrangements for the funeral.

I managed to grab a shot of this riverside ‘structure’. A couple of years ago we stayed at the Premier Inn across the road … and walked across to this place which was a Thai restaurant..and we had a lovely meal…with Mrs madwill’s brother. As we drove past it on the way out it appeared to have closed down and looked completely locked up.

A few more hours cleaning / sorting at his house today and now back at the hotel with a cuppa and biscuits :-)
