What a surprise

A miserable day, one for staying indoors.  I pottered, mostly cleaning and later on some CP work, an enjoyable time planning for this year.  John has joined CP as a volunteer, to drive the van should it be necessary, he does odd jobs and helps out anyway. 

The lovely surprise was when neighbour Nick arrived at the door with a new lid for a jug, he turned a piece of oak to fit the top perfectly, it looks excellent, I am very pleased. The jug was bought from Highland Stoneware forty something years ago, we always fancied a lid for it.  Hey presto, Nick made one.
