Exploring the ice

It was a beautiful sunny morning albeit rather icy. I joined my ex-colleagues for their monthly walk/run on this occasion in the Lee Valley. I'm not yet up to running the 5 km so joined the walkers , one other adult and 3 girls aged 5-10 years (they do recruit them young nowadays!)  We  made rather slow progress despite having two on scooters and one on a bike but we did get to explore and smash every icy puddle along the way!  Then had a good catch up with the others in the cafe.
