Back again

Nothing to eat (for any of us) before the trip back to Children's Assessment Unit for 9:30 and the checkup on Owen's ear. It had settled down but then swollen up again before oozing a bit overnight. I dropped Louisa and Owen off at the door before attempting to find a parking space. 
That done, I picked up coffees on the way through -to be honest I'm a bit disappointed they haven't offered me a loyalty card the number of times I've been recently. 
The ENT doctor on duty arrived pretty quickly this time and was umming and arring about whether it needed more intervention but, after a conversation with his consultant, decided to avoid the surgery and maintain the antibiotics.

Out of the hospital before 11 o'clock we had a stop off at McDonald's for breakfast before home, and Owen wanting to go back to school for the afternoon.
