The Big House
On my many walks into Munslow I catch glimpses of a big house through the trees.
It is a bit deceiving as the landscape is very 'undulating' and for a long while I was unsure, but I now know this to be the Rectory to the Church of St Micheal in Munslow village. The house is difficult to photograph from any angle as it nestles in the countryside and can only be seen in part through the trees. The weather vane and flag pole on the church tower can just be seen to the right of the big house, if you squint, or stand on a chair.
A lovely walk in winter sunshine with great views all round.
When the leaves are out this view will close in until next year, so I was happy to grab a fleeting shot.
