High tide

This morning when I went down to the beach for a play, the tide was all the way in. It was such a high tide that the sea took up almost all of the beach so I didn't have much room to play. In fact, we both had to play at running away from the waves because they were coming so far up the beach that at times we had no beach to walk on.

However by this afternoon, the tide was all the way out, so when I went for my walk I had absolutely masses of room to run and run and run. And guess what?................... We met two metal detectorists is that a word? on Porthminster Beach. Ann said that they were looking for dropped coins which apparently is quite lucrative in the summer but I thought if I made friends with them, they might be able to find me another manky old ball?! Unfortunately they couldn't, but at least I had loads of run about time today. Yay!
