Growing up

These Egyptian Geese youngsters are already flying around but seem reluctant to go on their own way. All eight of them keep returning to the parents. The father at the top still keeps his vigil watching out for any trouble. It's fascinating watching them flying around but returning home each time.
The workers arrived today to do some maintenance jobs and got a lot done. It's wonderful living at the sea but there is an ongoing rust problem. The day was hot and wind free so a good day for working.
