Gorton Monastery

Finally visited this which is literally on my doorstep……I actually worked around the corner as a teenager, when the Monastery was dilapidated!

In 1989 it was sold & about to be dismantled, but was saved & restored to its much former glory & is now a thriving business…..you can read more about it here

I met up with two long time friends for lunch and a good look around….. actually took my proper camera :-D
