A wash and brush up

This morning it was bright with a cold wind so Fand I went for a walk by the Mere in Ellesmere.  The usual suspects were around but the more interesting grebes were too far away for a decent photo.  This grey squirrel put on a bit of a show by having a preen.  I'm not keen on them but good for blips!

This afternoon I met I from school then took her home where we did some painting.  I stayed for tea which her dad cooked before driving to London to work in the office tomorrow.
