Splooshy

A long day today staring at 6am at Tebay. Drove up to Gourock and missed the ferry by 30seconds which meant I was right at the front of the next one. It was a bumpy crossing, I felt slightly nauseous and the car got bucketfuls of seawater thrown at it from the waves hitting the front of the ferry.

House was in chaos and filthy but the new heating system got switched on and (fingers crossed) seems to be working. So the house is gradually heating back up. Went to Portavadie for an indulgent lunch and then spent all afternoon and evening cleaning. Discovered signs of a mouse/ mice in a kitchen cupboard which is bad and one more problem for the list.
