Transatlantic Sessions

A fine evening at Celtiic Connections Transatlantic Sessions which came to Perth for the first time. 

I really enjoyed hearing the mix of different artists and styles - everything from pew jumping gospel songs from Tennessee to  puirt a' beuil from the Islands and a blast of the pipes.

In addition to bumping into friends from Pitlochry (we should get better at car sharing), I also met two former colleagues which was nice.

The rest of the day was a typical Monday (mentoring,  chatting with my cànan caraid) and more kitchen planning - a design is emerging.
