Spirit of Tasmania IV
To the naked eye, this looked like a cruise ship but it has been at the Edinburgh port of Leith for a few weeks. That prompted me to google it.
The Spirit of Tasmania IV is actually a ferry due to operate across the Bass Strait between the island of Tasmania and the Australian mainland.
This newest incarnation (the fourth) and its sister ship (currently under construction in Finland), the Spirit of Tasmania V, are larger than the present ageing ferries they are due to replace and require a larger berth to be built. Delays mean that it now won't be ready until 2027. Meantime the ferry is being stored at Leith while short-term leases are negotiated.

The hills immedately behind the port are, from left to right, 'Arthur's Seat' and 'Salisbury Crags'.
The view is from the coastal path between Kirkcaldy and Kinghorn, Fife.
