Water of Leith

A few pleasant surprises this morning: it was light when I left for the golf, there was almost no traffic, the pain in the neck roadworks were finally cleared and the weather was much better than forecast. That was the good news, my crushing defeat at the hands of Dave was the bad news!
Took a stroll down to Stockbridge later (the blip was taken en route) and picked up some brochures from the local travel agent. Time to get the summer planned. Also intensified my long running battle with the local mouse population with new bait and more traps so we’ll see how that pans out.
