Perth Agricultural Show

Farmers Market day as well as Perth Show day. Bought some bits and bobs at the market - hot smoked salmon, fresh haddock fillets, Orkney cheese, scones and lemon preserve - all tasty stuff. Town was buzzing with people and musicians in the street and the sun was shining - and I also cycled down but going back was hard work with the wind and the heavy rucksack!

Ben and his mum were here when I got home and along with Breagha, headed down to the show ground. It was heaving and Ben enjoyed very much the immaculate tractors, sheep, all the different very clean cows, beautiful horses and weirdly - jobbies! Breagha also was enjoying eating the horses ones and had to be alert when walking as she was just pouncing on them!

Loads of interesting pictures and I not sure of what one to pick. I chose this as they were also the winners of the carriage competition. Ben wondered why they were carrying fishing rods! HAHA.
