Day 196 - Deanie Power Station at Monar Dam, Glen

We took a trip and a picnic up Glen Srathfarrer today. There is limited number of cars allowed access each day and you have to get a ticket at the locked gate to get through. There are a few dams along the glen run by SSE and public vehicular access stops at Monar Dam so we got out and walked along the road for a bit. This shot was taken from the dam. I loved the architecture of the Power Station against the yonder hills!!!

On the way back we stopped at the river and a ford for the picnic and the kids and Aonghus had fun in the water!
