And the Band Played LOUDLY.

Not only has The Old Lady just had a birthday - so has The Lodge - but TOL wins by a mere ninety nine years.

To celebrate The Lodge's second birthday, all the staff, residents and relatives were invited to a barbecue, however, TOL was the only actual inmate present; she drove herself there on her electric buggy while advance scouting parties were sent out to find a suitable route devoid of kerbs, potholes and other obstacles and, once there she was supported by a major portion of the clan.
Following the food (which was very good (and free)), the entertainment started, so drinks were finished and we hurriedly made our excuses and departed to escape the noise.

The blip is of TOL with a finger in one ear, her drink in her other hand and great granddaughter Jess' hand protecting the other ear. It doesn't look as though the protection is quite adequate.
