Cradle Mountain

It's in there somewhere, you'll just have to take my word for it. Obscured by low clouds and smoke from the fires further west. We left Strahan in bright sunshine. First extra shows the loco for the West Coast Wilderness Railway train this morning. We had breakfast in the station cafe. We headed towards Zeehan for morning tea and had a chat with some of the firefighters who were on a break (second extra). From there on it was a mixture of rain, cloud and smoke all the way to Cradle Mountain. After dinner it looked like the sky was clearing slightly so we had a slow drive to the end of the road. Wasn't that clear but there was a hint of sun and the vague outline of the mountains. If the wind changes it should clear for tomorrow. Many thanks for the interest so far in our little trip.
