There are three!

Dogs for a walk to Strichen Park this morning where I saw these Muscovy Ducks.
I was at a meeting last night of the Strichen Park committee and these birds were discussed.
We’re pretty sure someone “dumped” them here as they are domestic ducks really. Attempts have been made to catch them and relocate them to a more suitable location but only one caught so far.
The problem is that they are chasing away the wild ducks and also trying to take over what has been the nesting area for the resident swans as you can see in the photo.
I think they are rather attractive but they would be better somewhere else. A case of NIMBY!
