Desolation

Quite large areas in the city centre are looking somewhat run down as shops close and buildings have an abandoned appearance. There is an example here. The large buildong in the background used to be John Lewis. It has been closed for several years.

In the foreground Jo Malone moved from this building to a new premisies in a shopping mall. With the closure of John Lewis there will be little to attract people to this corner of town.
