MMC25: Day 4

The Tiny Tuesday theme today is ‘from the kitchen’ so I’ve blipped a tiny whisk which I think it’s used to whip very small portions of things like butter. It’s done in mono for the monthly challenge.

I’m having some problems with the water softener tank in my garage. I called the plumber yesterday, but they can’t come until Wednesday; however, he said they could stop by today if they have time left over after other service calls. That means I’m kind of stuck at home for the day. That’s not my idea of fun because it’s going to be 85°/29°, sunny and with a slight breeze. Perfect. Yesterday I wore shorts for the first time this season. That’s one of the reasons I need to get the water softener fixed. The lack of humidity causes my skin to be dry and cracked. The water softener helps that a lot. Makes my legs look less gross. :-)

Driving to work, a man had to swerve to avoid a box that had fallen off the truck in front of him. Seconds later, a policeman pulled him over for reckless driving. Fortunately, another officer saw what happened. The policemen opened the box and found upholstery tacks. The first trooper told the man, “I’m sorry, sir, but I’m still going to have to write you a ticket.” Astonished, the man asks why. The officer replied, “for tacks evasion.“
