At the mall

I was supposed to have two days off, but first I got a text from the ward asking if I could come in tomorrow for morning. I said I can't for morning, but I can for later as I have a session with L at 10. So I'm going in for evening shift, which is a shift alone for the last few hours or three.

Then the agency for the assisting gigs called and asked if I could go assist one at the farm. I asked what was planned and as I heard it would be an easy (boring) gig, I said I can do it. I now have 6 working days in a row. But I guess that is good, as some weeks could be 0.

The person that I assisted is very slow in everything and needs his own space. He wanted to get a hamburger meal, so while he ate (you can't watch him eat) I sat opposite and sideways to him and just looked at my phone for 40 minutes. I'm sure it looks horribly careless for other people, but I can't leave him alone and I can't disturb his eating. He was satisfied with his outing. He always starts hugging when he's happy and relaxed. He's a very nice boy, but speaks poorly. Just some ahs and ohs and sometimes manages to get a word out partially. So it takes a lot of effort to understand him at first.

As I thought I'd have two days off, I started a puzzle. And on our dining table! I was sure I'd finish it before Wednesday evening. I warned my husband that it's there when he comes home tomorrow. I think I have managed to put together about 100 pieces, so only 900 to go.
