Ultrasound

I’ve had a persistent bulge which I thought was a swollen lymph node in my neck, and I went back to the doc to see if we could get to the bottom of it. She immediately sent me for an ultrasound (thank you comprehensive medical insurance), a first for me, and the ultrasound technician identified a cyst somewhere under my salivary gland. The doc reckons it was probably caused by a throat infection and whapped me some antibiotics to try and eliminate it as a first course of action. It was a relief to rule out anything else in the various tests she did.

I wanted to get some creative medical picture whilst I was in the ultrasound room but I realised I should focus on health and wellbeing rather than content creation. Instead I emerged from the clinic and got a picture of the street, where rains have caused havoc. This stretch of road always seem to have flooding issues, which isn’t great for invalids and the infirm exiting after their treatment.

Back at the office Dennis was singing Angels by Robbie Williams. Hideously overplayed at the time (not as mind-numbing as Rock DJ) but pleasant after not hearing it for many years.
