S made a proper roast dinner today, with the pork and crackling from my pre-Christmas charcuterie rendezvous. It was delicious, and there's plenty left over.

After such a hearty lunch, I thought I'd better go out for a walk. The almond blossom is just starting to show; it's a bit late this year, even though it hasn't been particularly cold. Despite this, our wood supplies are running low ... we had not planned on spending the whole winter here!
