Sunny Sunflower

It is so very hot in Florida these days, but the sunflowers don't seem to mind! I stopped by the Village of the Arts in downtown Bradenton for their monthly Art Walk, and spied these lovely sunflowers growing on an artists fence! Had to snap some shots! This is a medium sized flower on about a 5 foot stem, and they are doing quite well for the heat of the summer. It always makes me happy when I see them. Hope it makes you'all happy too!
