In The Pink
This morning was spent working on the Mother-in-Law's garden. All four of us went over - in a very traditional set of roles, my son and I worked in the garden, while my wife cleared enough floor space to hoover inside the house. My daughter, who had been on nights, put her head down and had a sleep in one of the bedrooms.
In the afternoon I did a bit in our garden - had a go at lowering the ivy hedge. While clearing away, I noticed that the hollyhock had flowered and fallen over. While supporting it with a cane, I noticed the spider taking shelter in the petals, which gave me my blip for the day.
