The Diva!

Brighton Pride today, the parade was fun with a theme of Icons, plenty of Freddie Mercury's to see!

We had VIP tickets which gave us quick entry to the park unlike the 2 hour queue some people had. We also got champagne, food, private bar & most important 'private loos' and a VIP area in front of the main stage which I just loved!

Hazel Dean was good, but I was really looking forward to Katherine joining the stage and she did not disappoint, she was on top form! I also loved hearing Katherine sing her latest single live :-)

I also really enjoyed Miss Dynamite, Stooshe, Paloma Faith, the original Sugarbabes now called MKS, Angie Brown and the most wonderful Alison Moyet.

We've had a really wonderful Pride which is something people in Russia cannot currently do; they even get locked up just for being gay! Russian vodka was banned from this year's Pride and they showed a video today of what it is like to be gay in Russia, it brought tears to my eyes.
