Spook'd

I went out for a quick ride
as i was coming around a corner, this poor deer was hanging in the middle
of the trail. she ran scared, I stopped the bike in panic mode.

after the initial scared was over, she stopped and kept looking back but not running away. I pulled out the p&s and got as close as 10 yards. it was dark
but she wasn't close enough for the flash to reach her.

there was this fence between her and I, but I was afraid that if I got any closer she would have bolted down to the train tracks. so this is the best i could do.

running into wild life never gets old or boring...

a little later in the ride, a red tail hawk flew by, right in front of me. but the hawk didn't hang out waiting for a blip.
