Every Picture Tells .....

Headingley, Honley, Denbigh

TUESDAY

"We stayed overnight at The Village Hotel in Leeds, which was a bit different from what we’re used to. It was busy, a bit brash, and noisy in the common areas with lots of people coming and going to the gym and spa. But the service was good, the bed was comfortable, and the room temperature was just right. I thought the breakfast was good too.

After a stop in Drighlington, I headed over to Honley for another audiology appointment, then drove back home to Wales over Saddleworth Moor, and then on the M60, M56, and A55 along the way. The traffic ran smoothly.

Late afternoon, I ran a few errands in Denbigh, and to hit my 10,000-step target, I took a walk around the village to finish off the day.

We wrapped up the evening glued to the TV for the series finale of Silent Witness, especially for Nikki and Jack’s wedding.  And funnily enough, Nikki bought her wedding dress from the same company (Needled & Thread) where our daughter Harriet got hers. Harriet and George got married last year, so it brought back some lovely memories.
