Carpet of Snow Drops

Not to late up today which was good and once showered and breakfast was out the way I logged on to my emails and saw I had a reply on the job I applied for Monday the want to set up a telephone interview so I logged on and booked a slot for tomorrow afternoon and hope it all goes well.
This afternoon after lunch we took a drive to Doddington hall as the gardens reopened today after a winter break so having a yearly pass we wanted to make sure we get the most out of it. 
It was lovely to walk through the gardens and enjoy the thousands of Snowdrops and other winter flowers. I really like this shot of the carpet of snow drops under the very old sweet chestnut tree which is over 450 years old so I bet it could tell a story or 2 . I have tagged it for wide Wednesday as there is lots of curves on the twisted branches thanks to Bobsblips for hosting the challenge .
Back home for a chilled evening and to watch Newcastle V Arsenal in the Cup semi final match on TV tonight
