Embrace

Two days ago my mobile phone diary reminded me of the tickets we bought months ago for a production of ‘The Tempest’ by Footsbarn Theatre at The Globe today. Hooray for phone alerts: I had completely forgotten. The play – in English, Sanskrit, Malayalam and French – was not the best production I’ve ever seen but was fun, with some great costumes.

It was a glorious day in London – warm sunshine and a light breeze. Having time to look around me properly for the first time in five weeks I remembered that I like taking photos. After weeks of scraping the barrel, today’s was a hard choice. I found it close to where I took this one. I do love London's beach.

She deserves to be seen large.
