Tourduff and Warklaw Hills

A dull damp and rather miserable start to the day. Still very breezy and a lot of rain. Can't complain as last winter was much, much worse. Partner heads off to hairdresser, not for a hairdo, just a hair cut. Fortunately the hairdressers is less than 2 minutes walk from the house. No morning walk as it was tipping it down. I do manage a quick jaunt to get the weekly photo magazine. 

Great to see blue skies after lunch. Even a bit of sunshine in the front room. However, just as we are getting ready to go for a walk, the skies darken again. The blip shows the rain shower heading our way, the sky yellow from the setting sun. We do have to walk through the rain, consisting of large, but not too many, raindrops. It is only on the walk home that the rain is in our face. The wind is quite strong, so it does sting a bit. But it doesn't last for long, and the walk is mostly dry.
