Slimbridge

SIL L & I spent the day at Slimbridge Wetlands today.
I had an email last week offering free tickets as it’s WWT week so we decided to take them up on it.
It was very busy with lots a serious looking birders with long lenses & scopes & many young families & mums with very noisy toddlers but they were all happily rubbing along together.
We photographed the Glossy Ibis, the Crane, the Spoonbill, etc, etc but only saw a couple of hooper swans in the distance.
We waited for the feeding time at 4pm hoping to see Hooper & Bewick swans flying in but they were a no show today.
We had a great out with our cameras.
