Mommies and muffins

... is the name of a fund raising held the first weekend in August to collect money for the delivery ward at Akureyri hospital. Everyone is free to take a part in this and a lot of mommies do so ... they bake and bring their muffins to the Botanic Garden. This time 1.500 muffins was sold. The money will be used to buy some equipment for the delivery ward.
