Quod oculus meus videt

Snowdrops in the Park

I had another medical appointment today, having waited almost 4 weeks for a G.P. appointment.

As I've said my Achilles continues to give me problems and despite the arduous walk last week being possible, I don't think I'm doing myself any favours by just trying to walk through the pain. The young locus doctor was very efficient, until she squeezed the right achilles tendon, which almost sent me through the ceiling of the consultation room. She could feel a build up of fluid around the tendon. She has prescribed some strong anti-inflammatories, along with a course of physio. Frustratingly she doesn't want me to do any more walking than necessary, so not even walking to the pool and back. It was a pity I'd walked to the surgery; which is right next to the leisure centre!

My options for photographs may be even more restricted as a result so I took advantage of the small clump of snowdrops in Bloxwich park en the way back home.

The Photography club got together in the evening to finalise entries to the MidPhot competition. I even managed to print a couple of images for inclusion.
