Family Sculpture

We shared the charms of Eugene with our visiting friend Bill today.

While walking to the “Saturday Market” we walked through the square at the corner of Willamette and Broadway.

As we approached the square, a young couple were asking directions from a fellow sitting on the bench usually occupied only by my favorite family of statues.

I was tickled by the impression that the book reading was interupted to respond to the couple's inquiry.
