Mount Teide

Set off in the morning to go up Mount Teide, thankfully cable car was running, though we had to go on a later one as had permission to climb to the top and your only allowed to be up for a hour. 
Amazing views and strange being above the clouds. Walk up was quite hard a combination of high altitude and steepness. 
Thankfully we were staying at the Parador which is very close to the cable car. Great views of Teide and the area especially at sunset.
